Chub Chub the Magnificent


Some of us, moi included, have gotten a little chubby over the winter season (whatever season; it doesn't matter!)

So what? That's why I thought to myself of a character..."Chub Chub the Magnificent". It is important to think highly of yourself. Love yourself and others regardless of weight. What is unconditional love for?

Time to be philosophical (or not) about such things, but don't over think it. Matter of fact, may be best to (medical disclaimer: see your doctor before trying any exercise I might advise you to do) drop down and give me twenty right now. Or not, you can do twenty pushups against the wall (you'll be surprised how well this can work). Just keep your body straight and slant yourself according to ability. You'll also stretch your calf muscles as you bend forward to touch the wall with your nose (head straight; good form).

Start drinking black tea. I mean any tea you like without adding anything. Spartan-like... It don't have to be fermented black tea. Plan to have it with your meal, then eat your meal and it will still be nice and hot by the time your through with slowly (or at least eating slower) eating your meal.

We'll accomplish a lot by doing this simple act of adding the hot, plain, tea to our meal. Namely, it will slow down any knee-jerk reaction to have desert. This will decrease the amount of sugar we consume. Sugar causes the pancreas to secret insulin which causes this hormone to tell the body to store fat(!). Further, we get the anti-oxidants. Voila!

We can do magic together (and apart for that matter).
